The Role This internship requires a foundational understanding of software engineering and a passion for building and iterating on products. Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the architecture and development of new features for the Fabric Agentic AI platform.

• Build and improve core components of our agentic infrastructure, from concept to production.

• Collaborate with senior engineers to translate complex requirements into tangible product features.

• Help develop best practices for building and deploying secure, on-premise generative AI applications.

• Work on creating evaluations, testing frameworks, and infrastructure to support rapid and robust AI deployments.

About You To set you up for success as an AI Software Engineer Intern at Grainline Systems, we look for the following skills and experience:

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

• Experience in software development through coursework, projects, or prior internships.

• Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with data structures/algorithms.

• A foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts.

• Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control, testing, and CI/CD.

• The ability to learn quickly and work independently in a fast-paced, start-up environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure) or on-premise infrastructure.

• A strong interest in data privacy, data sovereignty, and building ethical AI systems.
